Sizing
Sizes are easily calculated so that every employee receives the correct size garment.
Employees who do not fall into the categories listed below can be measured separately upon request.
Method of measuring is as follows:
Categories:
A) Jackets / Overalls / Dresses
The sizes are even (46,48,50, etc.). We measure the chest circumference under the armpits.
B) Trousers / Overalls (with straps)
The sizes are even (40,42,44, etc.).
There are two ways of measuring:
1) The metric system, where we measure the circumference of the waist in centimeters and divide by 2 to get the pants size and
2) Imperial measurement, where we measure the waist circumference in inches and have the pants size (used in several blue jean brands).
We measure the circumference of the waist tightly, at the height where the pants are fastened.
To find a match from a blue jean (imperial system) to a metric,
we use the following table:
